Referring to their original, proprietary manufacturing specifications, FAG restores the bearings back to their original, new conditions. FAG is on of the most experienced bearing manufacturers in the world. FAG Kugelfischer Georg-Schafer was established in 1883. Corporate history includes, from providing the main shaft bearing of Charles Lindbergh's Wright J5 Whirlwind engine, to being a prime supplier to every major engine manufacturer in the aerospace industry.

Bearings are manufactured in the same plant where they were original made using the same engineering experience, production methods and testing procedures. All work is done in-house including plating and NDT procedures.

Quality:

Remanufacturing procedures and Quality Controls are approved by all major engine manufacturers as well as FAA/JAA authority. FAG is certified according to DIN ISO 9001. Complete diagnosis of any wear, damage or fatigue is performed on each bearing submitted for remanufacturing. The original prints, tooling and manufacturing procedures ensure the highest degree for quality of the remanufactured bearing.

Highest standards are maintained at FAG by the fact that all production steps in manufacturing replacement parts and the remanufacturing procedures are carried out on-site-from the forgoing of the ring blanks and heat treatment, to surface machining and finishing procedures.
