We are the OEM for the Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Ball Screw for Boeing 720/707/KC-135/AWACS/C-130 aircraft, as well as the Trim Tab Actuator Ball Screw for the KC-135.
Skytronics has been supporting the US Air Force KC-135 tanker and reconnaissance program for over 30 years. During this time, we have manufactured over 800 KC-135 Horizontal Stabilizer Ball Screw assemblies, as well as hundreds of Trim Tab Actuator Ball Screw assemblies, for various agencies within the US military. We also provide repair and overhaul services for the Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Actuator (HSTA).
Ball screw assemblies are manufactured to meet Boeing and FAA specifications. In addition, Skytronics is an FAA-approved Repair Station and holds approvals from EASA, CAAC and Boeing.
As a result of being acquired by Phillips Service Industries (PSI) in 2010, Skytronics has teamed up with Beaver Aerospace & Defense, a leading broad-range actuation manufacturer in the aerospace industry, to offer total lifecycle support for flight control components. This unique relationship has allowed us to increase manufacturing and engineering capabilities to support virtually any size military application.
