Warranty: FAG warrants for the period of one year from the date of delivery that the bearings remanufactured shall be remanufactured free of defects in material and workmanship. FAG warranty liability is expressly limited to the refurbishment, at no charge to the purchaser, of a replacement bearing to be furnished to it by the purchaser, provided FAG determines, by laboratory examination, that the bearing is defective in either material and/or workmanship. Remanufacturing Defined: The replacement, if required, of inner ring(s), ball sets, roller sets, and rivets with new details of the original configuration and material. Remanufacturing can also include the replating of the cage and finishing of the raceway, may be updated to latest configuration, and a new part number assigned. Parts used in remanufacturing are of the same quality and source as original. FAG performs remanufacturing of bearings only with OEM approval. All remanufactured bearings are subject to OEM blueprint constraints in accordance with the latest revision and all work is subject to OEM surveillance of approved Engineering and Quality functions.
